What is stipt?
stipt is a Dutch software company and the all-in-one system of the same name, built for trade businesses. Email and WhatsApp, customer files, scheduling, quotes, forms and tasks live in one system, with dot as the AI colleague that suggests while you decide. All data is stored encrypted in the EU, with a separate key per company.
Who is stipt for?
stipt is built for Dutch trade businesses: companies that send quotes, schedule appointments and put field crews on the road. The office works in the full system; installers use a simple mobile portal for their appointments, forms and availability. The system is Dutch down to the details: work areas at postcode level, Dutch phone number handling, the formal or informal form of address in customer messages, and travel times calculated on our own servers.

Who builds stipt?
stipt is built together with the businesses that work in it every day. New features come from their daily practice: a dispatch board that accounts for travel time, forms completed on site, quotes that customers sign online. The first companies have been working in stipt since the spring of 2026.
What principles is stipt built on?
stipt follows three principles. Everything in one system: conversation, quote, appointment and customer file sit together, nothing gets retyped. AI that suggests while the human decides: dot does the groundwork, you confirm before anything happens. And every module switches on or off independently: you use only what fits your business, the rest stays out of sight.
How do you handle data?
All data stays in the European Union: the database in Frankfurt, the application on our own servers in Germany. Customer details such as email addresses and phone numbers are encrypted with a separate key per company; delete that key and the data becomes permanently unreadable. A data processing agreement is included as standard and publicly readable, and customer data is never used to train AI models.
What is dot?
dot is the AI colleague inside stipt. dot drafts replies to customer questions, summarises conversations, builds automation rules from a plain-language description and answers questions about your own numbers. Every suggestion appears as a card you confirm or reject. All AI features are off by default per company; only if you enable the WhatsApp bot yourself does dot reply to customers directly, and it then discloses that it is an AI assistant.
Do I have to use every part of stipt?
No. stipt consists of separate modules, such as calendar, quotes, forms, products and files. You switch on what you need per module; anything that is off does not appear anywhere in the system. Starting small and expanding later is perfectly fine.
Does stipt use my customer data to train AI?
No. Customer data is never used to train AI models; this is laid down in our terms. On top of that, AI features are off by default per company: you decide whether and where dot is used.
What happens to my data if I leave?
Every company has its own encryption key for customer data. On termination that key is deleted, which makes the encrypted data permanently unreadable. The remaining data is removed according to the agreements in the data processing agreement.
Can dot just message my customers on its own?
No. By default dot only writes drafts that an employee reviews and sends. The WhatsApp bot that does reply on its own is something you enable deliberately, and it hands the conversation over to a human when it is unsure or when someone complains.
Is stipt a Dutch company?
Yes. stipt is a Dutch software company building for the Dutch market: the product is fully available in Dutch (with English as a second language), the data stays in the EU and the scheduling works with Dutch postcodes and travel times.
