An AI assistant that knows your business. It does the groundwork, you decide.
dot reads along in your inbox, checks forms, answers questions about your numbers and helps customers on WhatsApp. With your own customers, records and knowledge, and anything that runs on its own, you switch on.
Hi Thomas, I'll check with the scaffolder whether Friday 9 October works and let you know tomorrow. We'll take the old boiler away.

dot does the groundwork. You decide what happens next.
In the inbox, on forms and on WhatsApp. dot works with your own customers, records and knowledge, and shows where its answers come from.
Inbox helper
Every email arrives with the work already lined up.
A minute after it comes in, dot finds the record, even through a quote number or postcode, and reads everything behind it: appointments, quotes, forms and open tasks. Then it prepares what needs doing. You check it and do it in one click.
- A summary of what's going on, with its sources
- A task for the right team, only when there's work left
- A draft reply that you review and send
Hi Lotte, two more questions for next week. Can the scaffolding go up as early as Friday 9 October? And will you take the old boiler away?
Thomas wants the scaffolding up as early as Fri 9 Oct and asks whether you'll take the old boiler away.
Already done: the installation is on Mon 12 and Tue 13 Oct

Draft to Thomas
Hi Thomas, I'll check with the scaffolder whether Friday 9 October works and let you know tomorrow. We'll take the old boiler away.
Ask the scaffolder: scaffolding Fri 9 Oct at Van Leeuwen. With a draft to Thomas alongside.
Urgency flags
You see straight away what's urgent.
Every morning dot reviews the open conversations and sets a flag: red for today, yellow for within a day or two, grey to keep an eye on. Waiting time, promises, appointments and the customer's tone all count. Point at the flag to see why.
- Urgency rises for as long as a customer is waiting on you
- A flag set by a colleague is never touched by dot
- Red conversations appear in your daily brief under Reply today
Boiler down, with a baby at home. She messaged this morning.
Waiting since Friday for a quote, and there is none on the record yet.
A question about her quote, which has been on Quote sent for 9 days.
Sanne Willems has no hot water, with a baby at home. Her conversation is at the top.
Form check
Forms that check themselves.
As soon as a job sheet or survey form is submitted, dot checks it. Does each photo show what was asked for, does the serial number match the type plate, do answers contradict each other? The reviewer gets a verdict with the points next to the questions.
- Fine, Check or Needs completing, per form
- If you like, the technician sees right away what to add
- dot learns from every correction your reviewers make
Photo 4 is blurry: the serial number can't be read.
Mo sees in the portal that photo 4 is blurry and completes Frank Huisman's job sheet.
WhatsApp is simply part of it.
Messages arrive next to your email, in the same conversation per customer, and dot flags them when something is urgent. Switch on the WhatsApp assistant and it also answers customers itself, from your own knowledge base.
- The assistant says in its first reply that it is AI
- Reschedule, cancel or call back, only after the customer taps Confirm
- When in doubt or on a complaint, it hands the chat to a colleague
Marieke Smeets' survey is now on Thu 15 Oct. Her timeline shows it was done via WhatsApp.
Ask your own business.dot looks it up.
About your schedule, your inbox, your quotes or a record. dot works read‑only with your own data and sticks to what you are allowed to see.
Analytics
Ask in plain language, get a chart back.
Ask how many appointments fell through, what the margin per product is or how the week is spread across the team. dot works it out and puts the chart in the conversation. Ask a follow‑up and it updates the same chart.
- Keep it as a card in Analytics or pin it to your dashboard
- About customers, conversations, quotes, appointments and forms
- For admins and team members with the Analytics add‑on
64 appointments from Mon 5 to Fri 9 Oct. Mo and Daan are the busiest; Sven, Jeroen and Noah still have room.
64 appointments in week 41, by appointment type. Mo and Daan are fully booked; Sven, Jeroen and Noah have room.
Daily brief
Your day starts with what matters.
On your first visit of the day dot opens your daily brief: conversations that need a reply today, records stuck in your stage and your open tasks, with the reason for each. The home screen shows the same under Today.
- Anyone about to escalate is at the top
- Every item links to the conversation, record or task
- Keep talking about it all day, in the same conversation
Good morning Fleur. This is what to pick up first.
First today
Waiting since Friday, 3 days, for your reply about the quote

VvE Lindehof has been waiting 3 days for your reply. dot puts them at the top.
Team chats
Mention @dot and it reads along.
In a team chat you tag a record and ask dot how things stand. It reads the record, the timeline, the status history, the forms and the appointments, and replies for everyone to see. In a team chat dot only reads: it doesn't change anything there.
- Tag a record with # and dot knows exactly which one
- The knowledge base and your daily brief too, right in the chat
- It remembers records tagged earlier in the same chat

@dot is Heat pump - Thomas van Leeuwen ready for Monday?
dot · 10:31
Almost. I went through the record:
- Survey on Mon 28 Sep done, the form is in
- Quote accepted on 1 Oct
- Installation Mon 12 and Tue 13 Oct, handover on the 13th
- Scaffolding Fri 9 Oct: Thomas asked this morning, he has no answer yet
The scaffolding for Friday 9 Oct. Thomas asked this morning; dot saw it on the timeline.
Knowledge base
Answers from your own knowledge, with the source.
Give dot your website, PDFs, FAQs and product datasheets. It reads them, scans included, and rereads your website every week. Every answer that relies on them shows the source, so you can check where it came from.
- Internal knowledge and customer‑facing knowledge, kept apart
- Per feature you choose which knowledge dot may read
- When dot didn't know, your answer becomes new knowledge

And more. What else dot lines up for you.
From summaries to rules and lists. Anything dot wants to create from the chat comes as a proposal first, which you confirm.
Summaries
A long conversation or a customer's whole history in a few lines, so a colleague can take over.
Sorting and routing
Every new email gets a topic and goes to whoever handles it, but only when dot is sure enough.
Customer happiness
A score from 1 to 10 per customer, from conversations, notes, standstill and rescheduled appointments. With the explanation as a note.
Rules from the chat
Say what should happen and dot prepares the rule or workflow. New workflows start switched off.
Tasks in bulk
A call task for every open quote? dot puts them on one card, each on the right record. One click and they're there.
Building lists
An order list or overview you need often, dot builds in Lists. And it adjusts it when you want to see something else.
Templates in your style
Point to an existing email template and dot writes new ones in the same tone and layout.
Why this status?
dot shows the status history, with who or what set each step: a colleague, a rule or the system.
You stay in charge.dot works for you, not around you.
You have to be able to trust AI in your business. So dot works with your permissions, shows what it does, and anything that runs on its own you switch on yourself.
Emails never go out on their own
dot drafts, a colleague sends. Only the WhatsApp assistant answers customers itself, if you switch it on.
A proposal first, then your click
Ask in the chat for tasks, rules, status changes or templates and you get a proposal card. Nothing happens until you confirm.
You switch on what runs by itself
Sorting, urgency flags, the inbox helper, form checks, customer happiness, the WhatsApp assistant and the internal bot are off by default.
Training comes first
The inbox helper and form check start in training mode: your team says for each verdict whether dot was right, and it learns from that.
Never more than you
dot works with the permissions of whoever uses it. Purchase prices and login details are never shown to it.
Limits per feature
For example never promise a price or discount, and always send complaints to a person. Plus your own instructions in plain language.
Everything in the log
Every run is recorded: when, who, which feature, which record, which knowledge and how many credits.
Not for training
Your business data is not used to train AI models.
Your database lives in Frankfurt and the app runs in Germany. For the AI itself stipt uses models from Anthropic (Claude) and Cohere; that processing runs through the US under the EU standard contractual clauses.
Also in stipt. The modules dot works in.
Frequently asked questionsAbout AI in stipt.
What is dot?
dot is the AI assistant in stipt. It works in your own workspace, with your customers, records, calendar and knowledge base, and helps with draft replies, summaries, form checks, analytics and preparing tasks and rules.
Does dot send emails to customers by itself?
No. dot writes drafts and a colleague sends them. Only the WhatsApp assistant answers customers itself, if you switch it on. It then says in its first reply that the customer is chatting with AI.
Which AI models does stipt use?
Mainly Claude from Anthropic. Searching the knowledge base runs through Cohere. stipt decides which model a feature uses; you only pay for usage, in credits.
Is my data used to train AI?
No. Your business data is not used to train AI models. Your database lives in Frankfurt; AI processing runs through the US under the EU standard contractual clauses.
Can I switch AI features off?
Everything that runs on its own is off by default and an admin switches it on per feature in Studio. Help on request, such as a draft or a summary, only runs when you ask for it.
What does AI in stipt cost?
AI runs on credits from one pot per company. Every subscription includes a monthly bundle that grows with your team, and you can always top up. The amounts are on the pricing page.
