On the file

One builder for all your forms. With forms in stipt you build your own work orders, checklists, handover sheets and intakes. In the field, the technician fills them in on their phone: fields, photos straight from the camera, the customer's signature on the screen. Customers can fill in a form through a link too. Submitting automatically generates a PDF and attaches it to the customer file.

Nothing gets lost

The form saves itself while you fill it in. After an interruption you continue where you left off.

No forgotten sheets

An open work order automatically becomes a task for the technician. The office sees which sheets are still missing, nobody has to chase by phone.

Reject with versions

If a sheet isn't right, the office rejects it with a note and the task goes back to the technician. The new submission gets a version number.

You build your own forms. Text fields, dropdowns, photos, a signature: you decide what goes on it. A work order gets different fields than a handover sheet or an intake. Questions that don't apply stay hidden.

With logic: questions that don't apply stay hidden

Filled in where the work happens. The technician completes the sheet on their phone, out on the job. Or you send the form to the customer as a link, no login needed. Every submission lands on the customer file as a PDF.

Frequently asked questions

Does the technician need to download an app from the app store?

No. The stipt technician portal is a web app you add to the phone's home screen from the browser. It works on iPhone and Android, and updates arrive automatically. The technician signs in once and has their schedule, tasks and work orders at hand.

Do iPhone photos (HEIC) work in the work order?

Yes. iPhones store photos as HEIC by default and browsers cannot display that format. stipt converts HEIC photos to JPEG on the server. In the work order, on the record and in the PDF you simply see the photo.

Can the customer fill in a form themselves?

Yes. Besides filling it in internally or via the technician portal, you can send a form to the customer through a secure link. The link stays valid for seven days. A customer submission goes through the same steps as an internal one: PDF on the file and, if configured, a status change.

What if the technician forgets to fill in the work order?

Every assigned open work order and every past appointment without an outcome automatically becomes a task. The technician sees it in the portal, the office sees it in the task list. If the office rejects a submitted sheet, the task reopens by itself.

What happens when a work order is resubmitted?

The PDF on the record is replaced by the new version, so the office always looks at the current sheet. The work order's version number also goes up, from v1 to v2, so you can always see it was revised.
