Quotation software for trade businesses
The quote goes out, the acceptance comes in online, and the follow-up starts by itself.
From file to acceptance. stipt is quotation software for trade businesses. You build the quote on the customer file, using lines from your product catalog. The customer receives a PDF on your own letterhead and a personal page to accept or decline online. stipt records the acceptance with name, IP address and a hash, and tracks every status: sent, viewed, accepted or expired.
Acceptance with proof
On acceptance, stipt records the name, the time and a digital fingerprint of that exact version. The signed copy is saved to the file as a PDF.
On your own letterhead
The customer receives a PDF on your letterhead and a quote page with your own logo and color. Everything looks like your business.
Insight into your quotes
You see per period how many quotes are accepted, how quickly customers decide and what is still open.
Customers sign online. The customer opens a personal page, reviews the quote and accepts online. You see exactly where it stands: sent, viewed or accepted.
Your own clicks don't count
After acceptance, the rest starts by itself. A confirmation on acceptance, a reminder when no response comes, or the file moving on to the next stage: it runs on its own.
- Confirmation to the customer
- Tasks queued for the job
- File moved to the next stage
Frequently asked questions
What does stipt record on an online acceptance?
On acceptance stipt stores the typed name, the IP address, the browser and a SHA-256 hash of the exact quote version. That lets you show afterwards what was accepted, by whom and when. The customer signs with a typed name and a confirmation box, not a drawn signature.
Can I see whether the customer viewed the quote?
Yes. As soon as the customer opens the quote page, the status moves from sent to viewed and this shows on the file's timeline. A colleague opening the link is filtered out. You can also trigger an automation on the viewed moment.
What happens when a quote expires?
Every quote has an expiry date. After that date stipt sets the status to expired automatically; accepting is no longer possible. You can set up a rule beforehand that sends the customer a reminder when the quote is about to expire.
Can I send quotes through WhatsApp?
The quote itself goes by email, with the PDF and datasheets attached. On top of that, approved WhatsApp templates can be sent automatically on quote events, for example a message with the quote link after sending or a confirmation after acceptance.
Can a declined quote be reopened?
Yes. A declined quote can be reopened, adjusted and sent again. Earlier versions are kept in the version history. The reason the customer gave, if any, appears on the file's timeline.
